Imaging specific biomolecules with fluorescence microscopy is good. Imaging cellular ultrastructure with electron microscopy is good. Imaging both with one method is better. In our paper, we approach this goal by making multicolor probes for electron microscopy. #microscopy.
Excited to share our first paper from the lab!. "Lanthanide Cathodophores for Multicolor Electron Microscopy". To combine super-res fluorescence imaging and electron microscopy, why not use an electron beam to make lanthanide nanoprobes glow?!. More in 🧵
