An important campaign by the Miscarriage Association to seek to add miscarriage loss to bereavement leave entitlements in the Employment Rights Bill. It's an amendment that makes absolute sense and one I strongly support.

I shudder at the prospect of a Shadow Justice Secretary who wants to leave the ECHR and to tear up the Equality Act.

Click here for my thread on yesterday's CA judgment in Haycocks v ADP, looking iat the duty to consult in a redundancy process, whether collective consultation is always required, & when consultation is considered to take place at a formative stage.

Hot off the press:@42BR_Barristers annual lecture this year is on 28.11.24, looking at menopause, a topic of increasing interest to employment lawyers over the last couple of years since Rooney v Leicester CC & the WEC's Menopause in the Workplace report.

Also potentially some interesting questions under s.19 re detriment. I've not seen the grounds of appeal but doubtless all will be revealed imminently.
