We have shown that combined glycerol and CO2 valorization works well even with commercial catalysts, if the electrode composition and the process conditions are right. We are now working on custom-designed catalysts and real industrial waste glycerol.

I am proud that the latest results of our @ERC_Research project, appeared in @NatureCatalysis By merging the achievements of the electrochemical and PV communities, we can run paired photoelectrochemical glycerol oxidation and CO2R at over 100 mA cm-2.
