New research published today in @ScienceMagazine has used 🐙octopus DNA🧬to discover that the West Antarctic Ice Sheet likely collapsed during the Last Interglacial period - when global temperatures were similar to today. 📰 ➡️

Our new publication reviews the ecological dynamics of the dinoflagellates Gambierdiscus and Fukuyoa and assesses current detection methods. We propose solutions to improve monitoring and mitigate ciguatera poisoning risks.
