It always confuses me how many people in the UK just accept an unelected house in Parliament. There simply is no justification.
Wait till you see the rest of my amendments tomorrow. I can't abolish the Lords in this particular Bill but I can abolish its membership. We'll start with the donors and the appointed cronies and work downwards. Scottish Labour will of course support me!!!?
