By the time of the end of 'The Last Generation' there have been 9 Starfleet ships named Enterprise.
There have been 7 Enterprise ships with a prefix.
@JeriLRyan
is going to literally be Captaining the 7th Prefix ship, of 9 total ships.
@TerryMatalas
you sly dog.
I'm so god damn tired of every single person that doesn't like Discovery trying to inject how much they don't like Discovery into every single fan space that they can find.
If I join a 'Star Trek Voyager Fan Group'. It's not to view low effort Discovery dunking.
Fun
#StarTrek
facts.
Unless they pull an Enterprise, Discovery's finale will be the first Star Trek television finale since 1974 not to feature a character from The Next Generation.
This seems like an oddly cynical take, when it could also be interpreted as a story about how damage the previous generation caused and passed on to their children is causing consequences that predominantly effect their children who had nothing to do with any of it.
Oh my goodness, the third season of “Star Trek: Picard” is literally about how only Boomers can resist the “woke mind virus” affecting Zoomers.
The thing about giving something like this the benefit of the doubt is that somehow it often ends up even worse than you expected.
#StarTrek
fans: The movies are terrible, so much action, they should be more like the shows.
Also Star Trek fans: Star Trek Insurrection is a terrible movie.
Star Trek fans: We love
#StrangeNewWorlds
!
Paramount: Great!
Star Trek fans: Soo... Can we get any marketing for it? Fun trailers? Social media antics? New character posters that aren't just photoshopped?
Paramount: Best we can do is:
One glaring oddity about Star Trek Picard/Prodigy/Lower Decks is that we keep seeing Defiants, Steamrunners, Akira's, Sovereigns.etc
But the only Intrepid seen since 2001 has been in a museum?
Given how effective Voyager turned out to be, why aren't they everywhere?
#StarTrek
The thing I find so amusing about the Star Trek swearing discourse is that it's such a bizarrely puritanical take to believe that somebody is beyond swearing just because theyre well presented.
And that this character was swearing in French in the very first season we saw them.
You know,
#StarTrekPicard
makes me a bit sad sometimes.
Not in a negative way, but in the way that it's demonstrating that the TNG movies all could have made better use of the cast outside of Stewart and Spiner.
They all clearly have the ability (as we've known for decades).
I'm sure the
#StarTrek
fandom will react completely rationally to this casting announcement with one picture and no plot details and not immediately start proclaiming about the death of canon
If and when
#StarTrekLegacy
is made I will accept nothing less than Ed Speelers being given a bizarrely tight uniform/catsuit
Men got their eyecandy with Sirtis, Farrell, Masterson, Ryan and Blalock.
Now a man is in the counsellor chair. Equality.
Okay, it's been a while since I talked ships so I want to talk about the Titan A, it's aesthetic and why, based on everything we know about the 24th/25th century it makes PERFECT sense.
So lets start with the basics, The Titan A is a '25th century-ised' version of the Shangri-La
When they get around to remastering
#StarTrekVoyager
an amszing bonus feature would be an alternate cut of Caretaker using the footage with
@TheKateMulgrew
natural hair
Honestly, we
#StarTrek
fans give Paramount a great deal of flack. Some justified, some not
But it's undeniable that they've made sure that every Trek episode they've produced, even short Treks, has made it onto physical media that can be preserved. Other fandoms aren't as lucky.
i hate that now the worst thing that can happen to your favorite tv show isn’t just “it got cancelled, they’re not making any more” but “all existing episodes of the show have been wiped from the face of the earth”
*complain about people that don't like Discovery feeling the need to inject that into every space they can find*
*A bunch of Discovery haters respond to tell me how much they don't like Discovery*
I mean.
Come on.
I'm so god damn tired of every single person that doesn't like Discovery trying to inject how much they don't like Discovery into every single fan space that they can find.
If I join a 'Star Trek Voyager Fan Group'. It's not to view low effort Discovery dunking.
It's funny to watch the same types of people in the Trek fandom make the following arguments:
On Discovery: This show needs more one off fun episodes!
On the SNW Musical: They shouldn't do this! SNW only has 10 episodes per season!
Almost like the issue isn't the shows?

Ah yeah cool.
I'll just cancel my phone and have no communication with the outside world
Cancel my Internet contract.
Then I'll sell my car...
Then I'll...???
Sure, maybe people spend a little more on the latest phone. But £40 on a contract won't make you much more comfy
@pnorris14
Oh no! A character with flaws?
How is she in any way a 'chosen one' when she got imprisoned for a failed mutiny, scapegoated by Starfleet for a war and had to travel 1000 years into the future before she was given a shot at the Captains chair?
You want to talk chosen one? Sisko
Something I haven't seen anyone (even surprisingly
@gaghyogi49
) mention, is that Star Trek Prodigy has finally canonised the Sovereign Class 'variant' seen only in First Contact marketing materials with a blue deflector.
#StarTrekProdigy
Why is nobody asking the real questions about the Borg in the
#StarTrekPicard
finale.
Why was Jack Crusher picked to be the first Borg Drone with hair?
And so, when Picard and Jack defeat the Borg Collective, they defeat the Collective we first met in “Q Who?” and the Queen we first met in “Star Trek First Contact.”
You all wanted a carpetted Stargazer SOOOO badly.
WELL HERE IT IS.
I used

seat cover patterns.
You're welcome

P.S - Sorry to

The most confusing
#StarTrek
commemorative plate design has to be the Vidiians.
Like I know these are decorative but still. Can you imagine being served a meal on this? Or even a snack?
Babe, what's the matter you've barely touched your Spaghetti on somebodies decaying face
The Starfleet Museum as seen in
#PicardSeason3
really highlights how much of an occupational hazard being in Starfleet can be, as well as how high Starfleet has the bar for a 'hero' ship.
It's impressive that in 3 centuries they've only managed to fill 2 rings and the inside
Behold, the Titan A says Captain Liam Shaw (
@ToddStashwick
) when the Luna Titan's space frame has buckled. A ship that harkens back to a time before the Borg, before the Dominion - and we're going to use it to explore and make first contacts.
It. Makes. Perfect. Sense.
My favourite part about all the reactions to this scene is that people seem to think that it's unrealistic that a ship run by Picard would have a library with a few old traditions.
This is his house
@jeromekurtiss
I mean Starfleet has effectively collapsed multiple times in all the other shows. It just keeps coming back from the brink because at its core, it's ideology makes people want it to exist.
And the worst part is how instantly 'freeze peach' they get when you point out it's not actually related to the groups content.
"People are allowed to dislike certain series"
"This isn't a Discovery fan page, so we're not obligated to like it"
Nobody said otherwise.
@alexandertperry
@DraconisCombo
From what I saw, somebody messaged the seller to tell them they were selling 'stolen goods' and likely highlighted exactly what they had in doing so.
So it'll probably appear at private auction with a six figure starting price and disappear into a private collection
One of my favourite/most terrified about things about the the publics general irrationality regarding protest groups like JSO is that it's entirely media fed.
The moment they actually take a moment to listen, they always go 'Oh, actually that's a valid aim. Fair enough'
🚨 BREAKING: Just Stop Oil Met With Counterprotest
🦺 Supporters of Just Stop Oil were met with a counterprotest while preparing to slow march in Elephant & Castle, but after explaining their reasoning for demanding an end to new oil and gas, the counterprotesters dispersed.

Super weird, I just input:
'melbourne men presenting as women sexual assault recovery'
And there's literally not a single study, article or sourced document.
Have you got any sources for this, or is it just more anti-trans sentiment?
