CalArts only takes the most surface level features of anime possible so they can subsume them. โAnime inspiredโ is nice and vague and lets them have things like: โhype aura Goku power upโ, โle funny zoom in face/expression changeโ, and โheckin animated fight sceneโ.
@JadeAtrophis It is even funnier considering that CalArts makes it very clear they hate anime and considers it "trash," even the ghibli stuff. And here we are, uncovering the fact that CalArts ripped its beanmouth corpo nonsense from anime.
