I say the same….I was and still am proud to have served and maybe made a difference to Londoners. That said, when @kvnbhrly1 were leading our teams we were generally allowed to ‘get on with it’ and I believe the impact on our teams performance, culture and morale was obvious. .
We are continually seeing criticism of the Met. So I wanted to say. I am proud to have served with the Metropolitan Police I have no regrets for doing so. The men and women who serve there now remain some of the finest people in our country. Without them vermin would overrun us.

There’s enough information out there for educated people to know the law. No excuse tbh. Seems people want pick’n’mix laws where they chose which ones to obey and what they personally think the police should prioritise their choice and ignore everything else.
@JamesHarvey2503 No sympathy. We see people without helmets shimmying through traffic on skateboards and scooters - running red lights, mounting the pavement, no lights at night, arrogance and fuckoffness exuding from them.

Do we actually care about these crimes?.Constantly hear about VAWG and the national ‘Wolf whistle’ patrols are a debate to be had, but FGM is a real and ongoing evil against young vulnerable girls with potentially life-threatening impacts. .
Don’t kid ourselves it’s not happening to British little girls . Lots of them are now recovering having been taken in the School holidays for the cutting season in Somalia, Sierre Leone, Ethiopia etc. we could stop this savagery easily with our own British girls. @ukhomeoffice.

It certainly is, but as we have seen, taking the law into one’s own hands gets normally right-minded and law-abiding people into serious trouble. The mass majority are being ignored and sooner or later it will boil over….

When was the last time we heard ‘Retention’ mentioned by the Commissioner or Dep. Mayor for Policing in London, or indeed anywhere else in the country….They either ignore it, or just don’t care….
@Brick_Cop You would think that with a recruitment crisis an organisation would focus its attentions on retention. Many of the much needed changes are in policing's gift to deliver . .
