It won't exactly land with the impact of all of the other recent announcements, but today is my last day at WaPo, 27 1/2 years spent running the newsroom intranet and building stuff. Not a bad run.

I don't think ppl realize how many of our culture's foundational artists will leave us in the coming years - it's really sad and there isn't really anyone on the bench to take up that mantle. irreplaceable in the deepest sense.

A question: after the late pass inf in the end zone, couldn't the Commanders have just kept tackling receivers in the end zone until the clock ran out (or CHI scored on a run)? Ball couldn't get moved any closer to the goal on penalties. .
