The VA now says it won't cut up to 83,000 jobs as floated earlier this year by VA Secretary Doug Collins. Instead, the VA job cuts will be about 30,000 this year -representing those staffers who have already left and those who are going to leave.

The Dept of Justice is confirming the authenticity of the Jeffrey Epstein memo to @scrippsnews - they have posted online. It says Epstein committed suicide. It also says Epstein had no incriminating client list, and no evidence that he blackmailed prominent people.

As you may have heard, my granddaughters were at the summer camp in Texas that flooded. They are safe, and I thank you for your well-wishes and prayers during this time. Unfortunately, not everyone was as lucky. My granddaughters lost their cousin, Janie, and many other.

Texas officials are absolutely right to call out NWS for treating every storm like it's the storm of the century. Since Katrina there has been a significant shift in the way NWS forecasts and issues storm warnings. These days EVERY storm is the "storm of the century." EVERY storm.
