Really disappointed in the lack of respect on the track tonight. It’s a disgrace to this great series. Not many out there raced without just running into the guy in front of them. Not sure what we do to clean it up but something must be done.

Well disappointed with our P8 finish. I want to win so anything less than that basically sucks. But when you drive for your own small team it really makes it difficult. We had problems in 2nd practice that cut our practice short but glad it happened then. We’ll keep fighting tho

Sad to hear about the Silver Fox David Pearson. He was a legend. Someone I looked up to. Always enjoyed hearing his stories/getting a lot of crap from him especially about being a left foot braker. He always told me he would whoop me. My thoughts/ prayers go out to his family.

Never been so happy to finish P13. The LR shock mount broke off from the rear end so only had 3 working shocks. Happened super early too. Glad we were able to keep going and get a top 15! Proud of my team for all their hard work.

Daytona 1983. Qualifying for the Daytona 500, Cale Yarborough runs 200.5 mph on his first lap, the first to break 200 at Daytona. Then on lap two, Cale said he's going 220 at the end of the backstretch and puts the car on its lid trying to go even faster. Won the race with backup
