My sister has all of the symptoms of Covid-19. Went to see if she could get tested because she’s having trouble breathing & they told her they won’t test her until she’s bad enough she can’t talk.
I can only imagine how many people have this that aren’t getting tested/reported.
Apropos of nothing, here is Gretzky facing the usual goaltending technique of his era. Also, here’s a vintage article I wrote about standup goaltending.

@BubbaWallace
went WAY out of his way to go back to his team, ask for a hat, and looked & *waited* for PJ on pit road before our race.
People don’t give BW enough credit for how good of a dude he is. He’s got so many obligations and went FAR out of his way to make PJ’s day.
One of the highlights of
@MonsterMile
was finding out
@ryanellisracing
invited a boy named PJ who was a big
@BubbaWallace
fan and completely under the radar both these guys made PJs day. No media, no agenda, just two good guys putting a smile on a kids face. Glad it was my car
Please try to run this race even if it’s at midnight tonight.
4pm tomorrow (rumored time) is ridiculous for teams as we are supposed to be back at the shop finishing our cars for the West Coast and they have to leave TUESDAY MORNING.
We should have pit road speed limiters so we aren’t all staring at our dashes while navigating people/cars/equipment.
Would increase safety and I don’t feel like speeding on pit road penalties add anything to races.
The strongest storm to hit California this winter will arrive tomorrow night as a potent atmospheric river and a potential bomb cyclone target the state.
Widespread heavy rain, mountain snow, damaging winds, flooding, and isolated severe thunderstorms will be possible as the
I am very proud of the media in our sport. They are giving the privacy and time that this situation requires. We are all one family in NASCAR. Teams, drivers, safety workers, media, etc. we all travel together every week for 38 weeks.
Hey everyone!
I truly hate putting posts like this out, but we've had success in the past, so I figured it's worth trying!
We've got an *unsponsored* car for
@WGI
next weekend, and I know the power of the internet has helped find sponsors in the past. Any help - RT'ing or
Wendy’s plz sponsor me and stop spending so much money on paid ads and commercials - I will eat 100 nuggets within 24 hours of pre race
@Wendys
Everyone plz retweet to watch me puke my eyeballs out in the racecar
Leaders top & bottom behind me. Another lapped car in front of me on the top.
All the leaders ask for is predictability and allowing them to know where you’re going to be.
When the leaders split top & bottom, you have to choose a lane - we chose the top bc the car in front was
That was the best
@nascar
race I’ve seen in a long time. High(er) horsepower and dirty air didn’t seem to ruin the raceability. Yeah, dirty air played a factor at times, but Darlington was awesome to watch. Great, AUTHENTIC racing with low grip and people using multiple lanes.
Today I learned that getting t-boned at 130-140mph hurts. Literally almost a 90 degree angle shot.
Hardest hit of my career even though it initially doesn’t look that bad- tough angle & driver door shot. No fault of
@pkligerman
- guy is a wheelman & I respect the heck outta him.
Friday morning,
@allirawrus
welcomed our beautiful baby into the world. We’re already more in love with her than we ever thought possible and she has us wrapped around her finger. I can’t wait to see what adventures we get to go on with her.
Both baby and mama are doing great.
The emotion from the 75 team is what we need more of in NASCAR.
I know the FS1 broadcast team just said it, but credit to
@zanesmith77
- raced clean and did a phenomenal job. Respect.
Also, credit to the
@Mid_Ohio
crowd, looks like a great crowd for a standalone.
Hard to find someone as universally liked/loved in the garage area. The phrase “first of many” can be overused, but definitely isn’t with
@rajahcaruth_
. Kid is a champ.
Today I drive from Charlotte to DC and back to Charlotte to watch game four of the
#StanleyCupFinals
. I’ll get back to Charlotte just in time to head back to work tomorrow morning.
#ForTheCup
not going to regret a thing.
@russianmachine
One day I hope the Xfinity Series gets a series like this - showing the various stories from teams of all sizes/budgets. It’d be a really relatable story for a lot of NASCAR fans.
Before I die (& YES IT HAS BEEN DONE MANY TIMES I AM WELL AWARE) I need to run this scheme, or another iconic Days of Thunder scheme in
@NASCAR
.
Are there any good ones that haven’t been done/overdone? Or other iconic movie schemes?
Not saying specifically for Darlington obvi.
Ok
@RossChastain
I’m sorry but you’ve graduated from underdog status and no one wants you to win anymore.
Just kidding. Watching Ross win is cool because everyone knows how hard he (and everyone like him) worked to get to this level. And you can tell he lives in the moment. 🏆
Stupid move yes, but I’d watch a race full of Noah Gragson’s before I’d watch a race full of other young drivers. Guy tries everything to win it. Wears his heart on his sleeve.
The sad thing is yes, Ross is super talented, but there are tons of drivers like Ross at every level of Motorsport that I think could do something similar to what he’s doing right now. We just need to find a way to put/keep talented drivers in winning equipment.
Hot take:
Nearly*** every track can produce great racing with the right rules package. Pocono is one of those tracks that could truly produce some of the best racing on the circuit with low downforce. Also, please bring back the ability to shift so drivers can pass easier.
Very jealous watching this Cup race. The Chicago Street Race is a phenomenal track. Very hard to pass, fun to drive. A track you really have to attack to drive fast. Event-wise, could obvi have some changes logistically.
Just a shame Xfinity didn’t get the chance to put on a
We need to be supporting
@tydillon
in what he put out today, not shaming him. It takes a lot to open up like that and we need more of that in our sport, and more importantly, the world.
