Very sad news. Living Legend of @alexandriava Joe Shumard died suddenly on Oct. 17. There are no words for the magnitude of this loss to the city and the lives that he touched. My heart is broken. #RIP Joe

Two lessons I learned during difficult times in my life: 1) never quit and 2) keep finding a way. Those lessons drove several innovations; most didn't work, but a few did...and those few made the difference. What else can you try to make the most out of our current restrictions?
