@Infra_VinayakCh AI Data Centres are a critical national asset and our current capacity is miniscule. At some stage India will impose data localisation requirements which will create extraordinary demand. We need to stop asking questions like these and let our tech companies take risks

@Infra_VinayakCh Data Centre business model mirrors Telecom Towers of yore - only a lot more capital intensive. Appropriateness for TCS is highly questionable

🤔 TCS announces that it will be setting up Data Centres , starting with 1 GW capacity. Indicates a significant strategic pivot. Data Centres are real estate-cum-energy play . It is now adding a hardware dimension to its software business. Jury out on appropriateness of strategy

♻️ Recent tender by IOC got quotes for Green Hydrogen of $ 4.5 /kg. Shows a $ 1 decrease from earlier bids. However, still a long way to go for Green Hydrogen to be accepted as a regular-use fuel ; and for that, the price needs to fall to $ 1-2 per kg . Solar deja vu !
