10/ ...because it's the HTs who actually know what they're doing, and care about our kids. And INSTEAD of being bloody livid, or giving in to despair, for the last ten days primary school HTs have simply delivered with courage, creativity, humility and, with an dash of style.

Loving Twelfth Night. Reminds me when I took my young son for a 12th birthday surprise to meet grandparents at the RSC to watch Romeo and Juliet. When I broke the news in the car he burst into tears. “I thought we were going to Old Trafford Dad!” he wept.

Homecoming: Jack, 14 years old, lost for 2 weeks, outside for 14 freezing, wet nights, boys put posters up on lampposts, found at bottom of a neighbour’s garden, on a ‘warm‘ compost heap, all skin & bone, completely blind, unable to find his way home. Now bumping into the dog!
