I wanted to wait until a formal @Gartner_inc Mastodon solution was setup, but recent events prompted me to make an earlier move. I’m not tooting on @ITSMChris@fosstodon.org for now.

Then I could have a @chrismatchett@gartner.toot (or something like that). Similar to an email address. Only other @Gartner_inc employees on the server, but of course no issues following and being followed from outside

I wonder if my employer set up a Mastodon server, so that I could create a techie/business focussed account that they could moderate and federate with other related servers about industry content. We already try to play by our company rules when tweeting on here anyway.

Indeed, a @Gartner_HR survey of more than 4,500 knowledge workers and 200 HR leaders showed that in-​office mandates drove connectedness sharply down. Among employees with “radical flexibility” 53% reported a high degree of connectedness.
