We need many more of these. Increased employment of advanced practitioners everywhere is a priority combined with a focus on wrapping shared capabilities around the patient/citizen and drawing on the complimentary expertise of all our health and care professions.

Wonderful to celebrate all nurses doing a brilliant job in these challenging times across the UK & the world. We are lucky to have so many collective leaders who inspire others & push the boundaries to create more person centred & compassionate care at every level of society.
Some are great, some are simply legends!.One of the first CNS's in the UK #CNSValue who led the way that others might follow, she saw a need for care patients did not get and built a service to meet that need. #InternationalNursesDay2024.
