HUGE WIN: 14 months of organizing = huge results. Council Members, advocates and businesses worked together on an inside/outside strategy to leverage the Mayor's City of Yes proposals to secure wins in decades-long fights for industrial businesses! s/o @ANHDNYC and the IJC!!

We’re excited to see this text amendment addressing long-needed updates to #NYC’s M-Zones move into public review. A strong #industrialsector is a crucial source of jobs for BIPOC and immigrant New Yorkers, and we need stronger tools to preserve and expand these spaces.

.@mwparrott we worked (and will work) with the Council to shape this bill as we believe a comprehensive, forward-looking approach to NY’s #landuse issues has the potential to advance economic, racial, climate, & housing justice for NYers. How? Let’s chat. https://t.co/1mz475aMET

This morning, I joined @AmandaFariasNYC to introduce legislation aimed to reinvigorate and protect our manufacturing economy ahead of the Mayors City Of Yes text amendments. We can not talk about economic development and leave out manufacturing and their well paying jobs.
