Long Island City is the perfect place to add housing & public waterfront space – but across too much of the neighborhood, outdated zoning stands in the way. The OneLIC plan can change that! @DanGarodnick explains.

This is a huge loss. Mike McKee taught me everything about the legal rights of rent stabilized tenants when I was a City Council candidate in 2005, and we put it into action together fighting for Stuy Town tenants for a decade. He was a giant and will be missed.
Today a giant died: @tenantspacny Treasurer Michael McKee was integral to more than 50 yrs of fights that kept millions who will never know his name in their homes. Here is the indominable figure getting arrested during the 2015 rent fights & taking a bow: https://t.co/BgRLO6ZjwV
