@depurhro revised plus ORIF in my hands. In older patients I have also tended to extend fixation across the entire femur for prophylactic femur protection. Pics of recent case but press fit stem. Slightly different concepts. ?anyone else prophylactic long femur fixation?

Thanks for all of the reply’s. Full length films show no problem getting alignment in the coronal plane. Sagital plane is what I am worried about. For the Nav Voters—do you align to distal segment in extension? If not component will be flexed about 20deg on full lateral
