Councils are out of control in how they treat residents. They listen to lobby groups rather than residents. They are enthralled by interests not set by them or their constituents. And don’t get me started on Govt and shadow cabinets. The entire system is compromised and corrupt!

@RezinaChowdhury Most people agree that we should cut down on car emissions, get to net zero, etc but this plan is clearly for the birds. Key takeaway is: Lambeth think that private car ownership is wrong and they want to outlaw it.

@JoRigby_Balham Wait until you are mobility impaired & start losing upper body strength up Bedford Hill. Younger shoppers are by definition far more likely to work, have younger children & possibly even caring responsibilities. Not saying a trolley isnt a solution but it's not the only solution.

This road is outside a primary school. @LewishamCouncil has rerouted loads of traffic down it from an LTN. The road’s disintegrated from the volume of traffic, but unlike the LTN with its repaved roads & pavements, the council couldn’t care less. A tale of two cities in one city.
