(5/6) The spread of disinformation on X, proliferation of often politically motivated hate-speech, and amplification of other harmful content is causing real-world harm. The Faculty can no longer be active on a platform which allows and even promotes these actions.

(3/6) These actions are in direct conflict with the values held by the Faculty as we seek to promote evidence-based policy and debate, foster responsible and sustainable leadership, advocate on principles of justice and equity, and condemn racism and other forms of hate-speech.

(2/6) This decision has been taken by the Faculty Board which recognises the platform as incompatible with our organisational values due to its recent reversal of policies prohibiting disinformation, re-instatement of accounts promoting hate-speech, and increasing political bias.
