M. Roger Béteille is such a huge part of the Airbus story, from the creation of the A300B in 1969 right up to the launch of the A320 in 1984 - to say he made a lasting impact would be an understatement. The « man with the white tie » will be greatly missed.
The entire Airbus family are deeply saddened by the passing of one of our founding fathers, the visionary Roger Béteille. With us from the beginning he shaped so much of what we still do to this day. We'll miss his pioneering spirit & will toast his legacy

I’m immensely proud that a team of Airbus volunteers played a part in this amazing story by 3D printing a prosthetic arm for 9 year old Lou. Lou’s outlook on life is inspirational, as is the team spirit of our volunteers, who showed the true human impact of innovation.
9 year old Lou was born without a forearm because of a congenital limb deficiency. Today she received an artificial limb. Her new forearm was 3D printed by Airbus volunteers in Toulouse. Watch and read her story.
