The upgrade program for Launch Vehicle Eve was completed on time and under budget. The launch vehicle is now capable of flying SpaceShips on successive days, supporting our targeted rate of 125 spaceflights per year with our first two SpaceShips.

Our rocket systems team qualified our SpaceShip’s oxidizer tank for the entire life of each ship, which we expect to be 500+ spaceflights. We cycled this tank 4,000 times – and it passed with flying colors. This is an order of magnitude increase in reusability; reducing downtime

Our production checklist is getting smaller each week. One measure of our progress is how many of the structural parts needed to build the first SpaceShip have arrived at the SpaceShip Factory in Phoenix – by mid-December, we expect to have approximately 90%.

A few takeaways… CEO Michael Colglazier shared that Virgin Galactic has continued to make excellent progress building its next-gen SpaceShips. The forecast launch of commercial service remains essentially unchanged, with our first spaceflight expected in Q4 2026.
