I lived this shit man, 99% of the people with an opinion have never been to a G5 game, and damn is it frustrating I was on campus when my school was the best G5 team in the nation. I was at the only gameday my school will ever see. My REAL LIFE was impacted by G5 football.

Iowa State finished number 10 in the CFP rankings and lost by 1 score to Oklahoma (a team they beat in the regular season) in the Big 12 championship gameโฆIowa State would have been in a 12 team CFP, but instead beat Oregon in the Fiesta Bowl.
JMU is this year's Sun Belt Champion and is in the CFP. None of the Sun Belt champions since 2020 have a P4 win (0-7) with an avg score of 33-13. Only 2 of those P4s finished ranked. Y'all don't want to actually have a conversation about "fairness"
