@Activee No, they don't. Extraction shooters are just for gankers who think "Got'cha bitch!" is skill of any kind. On top of that, tons of new and innovative games come out year after year. In my "played in 2025/2206" list alone Expedition 33 - found it meh as I think QTEs in turn

People say this dumbass shit a lot. They must be in the AAA shooter bubble. A game about breeding fucking cats has 70,000 players on steam as we speak. Game is extremely unique and innovative and getting nothing but love, and for good reason. Expand your horizons
Every time a game tries something new and the internet dogpiles it before launch, another studio decides to play it safe next time. People say they want innovation… but reward familiarity. Extraction games feel very different after you level up.. but a lot won't see that.
