My time at @PostOpinions is sadly at an end! I loved editing our talented columnists and bringing in relevant outside voices from across the ideological spectrum. Unfortunately, they're going in a different direction now. I wish them luck. As for me, If you're up to something

Nice for me: Amazon just picked The Explorer's Gene as one of its Best of the Month selections. Nice for everyone else: they just cut the price. 26% off the hardcover and 51% (!) off the ebook. Won't get better than this! US: https://t.co/q7s1ZcO9I2 Can:

1/ After residency at Mass General Hospital, I reported to Atlanta to meet my fellow CDC Epidemic Intelligence Service Officers. I have never felt so intimidated by my peers The best and the brightest, they were star clinicians, had served in disaster zones; MD/PhDs and MSF.

Scientists and doctors (and anyone who cares about these institutions)..if you were on the fence to vote, maybe this will jolt you. When they say "reorganization" they mean...gutting and controlling based on opinion/political reasons, not actual facts or science.

Hi. I co-host Post Reports, the flagship daily news podcast of The Washington Post. I'm also one of our media reporters, and my colleagues and I are reporting on the non-endorsement and The Post itself . You can find all of our media coverage here:

Here’s why I’m not quitting the Washington Post — and why I hope you don’t, either. With a (hopefully) paywall-evading link for those who canceled their subscriptions.

My mom just told me she cancelled her subscription to The Washington Post. She reads every one of my stories. It was a heartbreaking call. I understand why she did it, but I asked her to reconsider. To anyone who has cancelled or is thinking about cancelling, here’s what I said:
