I know Dallas wouldn't have traded him here but 2 1st roumders and any DT on the roster is a price I would absolutely pay. The 4 year $188M deal is the tougher pill to swallow with JD5 needing a deal im 2 years.

As a #Commanders fan I remember my years of doing mental gymnastics in the hope that my team might exceed all realistic options.
The Giants' schedule is easing up in the first three weeks of the season:. - A rusty Terry McLaurin who didn't practice at all this summer.- Potentially a Cowboys defense without Micah Parsons.- Chiefs offense without Rashee Rice. Let's get some upsets and kick off the season 3-0.

I think JD5 deserved to be higher on the NFL100 than he was but I have no problem with Goff being ranked as high as he was. He had a monster season. 4,600 yards passing, 37 TDs for the #1 seed in the NFC. Detroit had games with 52 (twice), 47, 42 (twice) & 40 points.

Could have been done weeks ago if they just brought me in.
I think if the #Commanders offer Terry $28M with incentives that give him an avenue to $30M all sides can sign that and feel like they won something. I don't want either side to be forced to give in completely.

This is in line with what I thought he would get. A tad higher ($29M in AAV vs $28M) in annual value but still with incentives to get him into the low $30s. This is a fair deal for all parties.
