A Gloucestershire Fire and Rescue Service crew from Gloucester South rescued a dog this morning from a culvert. The dog was not injured, just very shaken and taken to a local vet to trace the owner. Well done to all involved!👏

6 Firefighters from Stroud Station will each be taking on the 110 flights of stairs in full kit to honour the bravery of 343 firefighters who selflessly lost their lives so others might live on September 11, 2001.

Crews from Gloucester, Cinderford and Coleford have assisted a pony from getting their hoof stuck in a cattle grid, great work with owners to keep the pony comfortable while the equipment was set up and the rescue took place on a cold afternoon.

AM Ian Tonner dropped in at Cinderford tonight to say Thank you after an off duty Firefighter was called by a friend, to a man in cardiac arrest at a local pub. That firefighter then called others who grabbed the defib & then met at the pub where together they saved his life ❤️

Gloucester crews had an unusual call to the Fair today, on arrival one of the rides had stuck up at 25m & the organisers were trying to release the break, our crews set up a safe platform to rescue if the break didn’t release, but all went well & the ride came back down slowly 🚒

Cheltenham Crews rescued 6 very cold Australian visitors stuck in a snowdrift last night. Warm smiles after a chilly start to their visit!! It may be warmer than yesterday, but there are some icy patches and snow. Drive to the conditions.

Crews from Lydney & Coleford have assisted @swast1 & Air ambulance to rescue a female climber, (44) who had fallen at Symonds Yat, she was climbing with a group and fell into an area that needed our rope rescue team. She is now safely with @swasFT 🚒 🚑
