reminds me about what I wrote back in 2014 regarding human genetics. And also the work of Greg Radick. #ACMGMtg22

Agree with this, but we sadly live in a brutal capitalist society where many people cannot afford to retire early. But, by all means, for those lucky enough to have the finances, absolutely agree. I just wish society at-large in America were radically different.
Retirement is one of the most nefarious carrots we’ve ever been sold. Somehow we were convinced that if we just grind for 40+ years while neglecting our health, our family, our calling then we’ll finally earn permission to enjoy life. It’s a manufactured idea designed to get

anyway, I am really loving @corpseinorbit for Echos Bones, and this is my attempt to optimize my listening experience, at least for now. Open to suggestions, although the order is already placed, but can re-visit in a year or two.

Did the research for most optimal listening experience with my Apple Music and iPhone, as I continue to explore more with music. I know that audiophile snobs will say to get a sound system, but this is what I can do for now with iPhone, as in next tweet:

I've known this researcher for years and have always been impressed. This, by @angRchen, was hard to read. His lab was humming with discovery. After one year under Trump, it’s almost silent https://t.co/Cp2HHJVM1v

John Quackenbush built a lab that is at the forefront of human genetics research and bioinformatics. Trump administration cuts have put it in danger of collapse.

This podcast is pretty damn amazing. Very helpful for analysis of Pynchon. Will likely subscribe to Patreon for more content in the future. Life is full of twists and turns, and I am very glad to be reading more Pynchon these days.

Time feels different at 52 than at 25. My kids don’t need help tying their shoes anymore. There’s a quiet shift when you realize you’ve gone from being their entire world to becoming a chapter in their expanding life. My father passed a few years ago. My mom passed when I was

No offense but I think we underestimate how many of our current problems, both cultural and political, are downstream of the decline in reading, the decline in learning and the loss of interest in the humanities.
