@indexnforgetit He had no idea. He actually called the rent my “beer” money. I told him yesterday that the joke was on him. So much for my beer money. 🤣.

@Blind__Luck Not sure. He already puts 17% into his 401k and maxes his Roth. I told him to do whatever he wants. No strings attached.

@Name_Is_Paul Yes. Taxes were paid on the money when he earned it. I paid tax on the interest. Happy?.

@iMiaSanMia @altobelli13 He should have celebrated. That was a screamer. He hasn't played for Bayern in a long time. Celebrate young man.

Proud dad moment. 22 yr old son started first big boy job as an engineer. He texts me and says “Roth” right? Then follows it up with “20% in the S&P 500 index fund right?” His college grad present was @JLCollinsNH Simple Path o Wealth. He not only read it but executed it! 💪🏻.

Today is my 1 year anniversary of leaving corporate life. My son suggested that I should go skiing every January 3rd until I can’t. I thought that was a great idea. #FIRE

@Remzztrades This is nothing. I lost $50k on paper today. In 2020 it was over $600k. Hang in there and buy more. This is when you make money. Patience.

@ShibaSoldier444 Sorry to hear that. We’ve done pretty well so it was a little something that we could do.

Just purchased The Simple Path to Wealth by @JLCollinsNH as a college graduation gift for my son. Bought the same book for my daughter a few years ago and she is already over $150K in investments. Hoping my son will follow the plan too.

@veteran_20_145 He has a Roth IRA and maxes it out. I used to match his contributions when he was a teenager.
