It's actually good and clarifying they're being explicit about this. It's sad and wrong how this suffocates sombre remembrance of lives lost, but the day has always been - and increasingly so recently - a jingoistic celebration of continued militarism. As well stating it plainly.
Remembrance is an important moment of the year when we show our support for our Armed Forces. Wearing a poppy and supporting the @PoppyLegion is one way to thank the Armed Forces for the sacrifices they continue to make to protect our freedom.
