@suztraceynhs I received a text this morning from my father, a retired GP, who is currently an inpatient on Otter ward. The care he describes falls a very long way short of reasonable expectations. I would be delighted to share it with you.

"We're taking a lot of calls right now, and the wait is much longer than usual, pls stay on the call right now..." BALDERDASH, BALONEY and other B words. I just (again) got this when calling a bank. It's not 'longer than usual', it is USUAL. Either hire more call operatives,

Now let the snivelling apologists for rape, murder and torture explain how this, too, was justified.
'About 40 babies were taken out on gurneys... Cribs overturned, strollers left behind, doors left wide open' Our correspondent @Nicole_Zedek continues to survey the horror scenes left behind in Kibbutz Kfar Aza where Hamas invaded and murdered dozens of Israelis in their homes

Our invitation to talks facilitated by ACAS is our latest attempt to meet @RishiSunak at the negotiating table to end the pay dispute with consultants in England. @RishiSunak will you finally meet with us about pay?

If consultants need a reference to argue their point next week while striking. Use this.
1/ VITAL🧵 So people have had a couple of days to digest the DDRBs "independent" reports & their imposition by governemnt. TLDR;they represent further MASSIVE pay cuts. Lets start with some history and look at what happened BEFORE the current high inflation Pls read all/RT

So important to call out govmnt spin that these are the largest pay rises in decades The reality is that these are FURTHER *brutal* pay cuts VS high inflation, to the groups in public sector who have already had the steepest pay erosion RT if you have enough of the pay cuts

DDRB quote of day: "doctors ..should not be treated as an exception..when this is not happening in other groups" I AGREE 👏 DDRB #shouldhavegonetoSpecSavers👓➡️wouldnt be in this mess with 7.5 MILLION W/L(highest ever & rising)if we were "other groups"👇 vs #JustAnotherPaycut

Our letter sent today to @RishiSunak to try and work out why @SteveBarclay insists he has no mandate to offer a credible deal. We continue to be willing to engage in meaningful talks with the Government at any time including up until our planned strike action.

@jburnmurdoch @FT @NHSDigital @NuffieldTrust @ONS @bankofengland @OBR_UK @theRCN @unitetheunion @SCoRMembers 29/29 Our NHS is on its knees (left). Our 7m+ waiting lists and rising avoidable deaths are not due to striking NHS workers, or (just) covid, but due to political choices. RT if you want government to make the choice to fix this mess now & properly #payrestoration #fixDDRB

MPs have seen their pay increase £20k over the last 14yrs The rise this April representing a 31.7% cash increase compared to 2010/11 Given that Doctor pay over the same period has decreased 25% You might see a solution @SteveBarclay in your own pay packet #juniordoctors

The FT not the BMA published this. How can this salary assault on NHS and Education staff be justified. And how long do the professionals endure, in sacrifice for their guardianship of patients and children. Think how manipulative & morally horrific this regime is.
