What will £100,000 get you? Minus the planning, VAT & legal fees Maybe a room in 1000 surgeries. But then you need to employ a GP full time to use the room to make 8m more appointments But there is no money for GPs so where exactly are the appointments coming from?

Hospital league tables are a disastrous idea. You do not improve standards by shaming hard-working NHS staff, damaging morale and adding unnecessary stress. We should support - not scapegoat - our medics. That means giving them the resources they need to provide care for all.
