Familial burden - in addition to age, sex, and specific LS gene - should be used to assess LS carriers' risks of specific cancers and guide decision-making about organ-specific surveillance.

Really interesting that there are more VUS in minority populations , especially since testing comes from Caucasian populations . Can panels be extrapolated to populations with high VUS before more data is gathered , especially with mistrust in the medical system ? #CGAjournalclub

@cmmuller7 We wanted to describe the genetic predisposition to CRC in pts < 50 from diverse backgrounds and found differences in referrals/testing in these patients. Definitely need more data in hereditary CRC in diverse patients! #CGAjournalclub
