Another amazing EUS-LB by @neilRsharmaMD , using my CoreCatcher sieve (made by KITE Endoscopic Innovations). Here Neil is washing off the blood, revealing huge amount of core tissue. Ordering info available soon, once the website is live (hopefully this week). @DouglasAdlerMD

Years ago, @mikewallacemd told me that there was no such thing as an emergency EUS. I guess things have changed! This RYGB patient had GOO and needed decompression. How often have you had to do an EUS as an emergency? @DouglasAdlerMD @neilRsharmaMD @NeilBhogalMD

I love eponyms! Here is one of my favorites: Courvoisier's gallbladder (or sign). Painless palpable GB, from biliary obstruction usually due to panc CA. Weight loss, as in this case, makes it easier to palpate. @DouglasAdlerMD #GITwitter @ASGEendoscopy @RuchitShahDO @drkeithsiau

A reminder that button battery ingestion requires urgent intervention! The patient swallowed it 7 hours before coming in; this ulcer may have perforated if there was a longer delay! The battery got held up at the level of the aortic knob #GITwitter @ASGEendoscopy @DouglasAdlerMD

Easy way to manage polyps right at the dentate line: band EMR! This was a tiny one, but the technique also works for larger ones. Band-EMR OK in rectum, not above. @neilRsharmaMD @NeilBhogalMD @KMonkemuller @SunilAminMD

This man had necrotizing panc in November; we have followed it with multiple CTs. Finally organized into this 15 x 12 cm collection (it is 1 cm bigger than in February). But COMPLETELY asymptomatic! What would you do: drain or follow? @BilalMohammadMD @neilRsharmaMD
