High school girls might as well be allergic to protein. They will make a lunch of carbs every time if given the chance.

Last weekend...an NBA regular season game was beaten in the ratings by a bass fishing tournament on FOX. With nearly half the teams in the league tanking...the NBA has been surpassed by Major League Baseball as the second most popular league in America.

I don't think the standards for school music could be much dumber. Being in an ensemble is not seen as good enough...you have to "create" music. Funny thing is...you don't actually have to create music to be a musician. They are two completely different skills.

Basically every teacher with high expectations sees PBIS and goes "that will not work." Turns out, those people were always correct. 20 years of wasted money and wasted time to get terrible results.

If youโ€™re hearing of PBIS for the first time and wondering how it contributes to classroom disorder, I did an investigation with @CityJournal Talked to teachers, talked to PBIS trainers, dug into the research https://t.co/Lel1HFwtb3

Being an HS teacher for any real length of time will radicalize you on public order at least *somewhat*, it is unavoidable that these two lessons are learned by Year Three (the third year is when you know if you're cut out for this job or not, most quit Year 3-5)

@TrenAndHaloRage "What GROWN man goes to a therapist?" This is really the point. Almost nothing good can come from this. Some person who's own life is probably a mess is going to tell you how to put yourself back together again while billing you several hundred dollars an hour. If they fix you

A mother who works about 70 hours a week received a school calendar listing all the holidays, early releases, and teacher planning days. Curious, she used ChatGPT to organize every day her kids would be off from school during the year. When she saw the full list, she was shocked

Why is it that education is the only profession where people are expected to work for free? Is it possible for a coach's motivation not be singular? Maybe he wants to work with young people AND buy groceries for his family? COACHES, NEVER APOLOGIZE FOR HOW MUCH MONEY YOU EARN!

High school coaches: Paid more than ever. Collecting camp money. Adding a percentage of that pay to their pension - in Illinois. More technology than ever to do their jobs and in most cases, a bigger budget to do things than decades of past. The result: More lazy high school
