ICE offers jobs to FIRED police officers. If they don't follow rules in their current job, what makes ICE believe they will follow rules at ICE? This is contemptible and highlights their active recruitment of lawless agents.

According to a report by the Associated Press, nearly 1,000 police officers in the U.S. lost their licenses as a result of sexual misconduct between 2009 and 2014—a “sure undercount,” the report noted, since nine states didn’t keep relevant records.

Policing lying IS a felony. It’s perjury. But prosecutors rarely charge police. They rely on police & police department cooperation for their cases. And fear that if they hold police accountable, they’ll lose that critical partnership. So lying continues & expands.

A few months ago Kristi Noem made national headlines claiming that a family had beat ICE agents with snow shovels. ICE was then caught detaining and trying to deport witnesses of the alleged attack, to prevent them from testifying. Turns out, Noem lied. It never happened.

A reminder that the FBI’s most recent data (2024) shows over 94% of the 7.5 million arrests made by law enforcement agencies nationwide did not involve an alleged violent crime. Policing in the U.S. is overwhelmingly NOT focused on violent crime.

In drafting a search warrant affidavit, the Fourth Amendment requires the inclusion of facts that would negate probable cause, if they exist. The government can't pick facts that, if true, could support a finding a probable cause, but omit the facts that cancel that.
