Parboiling beans is not entirely ideal though. The best way is to pre-soak it atleast 1hr prior to the time of cooking. Then wash and rinse it severally with enough water before cooking. A lot of nutrients leach into the water during parboiling and washing.

There are two basic reasons why yellow garri is better than white one.
