Bail is the main issue here. She did not have the option to sit at home and wait for a trial.
Is Ricky Jones's acquittal for urging people to slit the throats of anti-immigrant protestors an example of 'two tier' justice, given Lucy Connolly got 31 months for a single tweet she deleted within hours and then apologised for?. The two cases aren't directly comparable since.

You're not allowed to call out males in women's sports in Australia. Scary stuff.
If William (Lia) Thomas had lived and competed in Australia no-one would have known his name and he would have had special protections in law. Our politicians would rather protect and promote males in female sport than protect the dignity, fairness and safety of Australian
