Fireworks should be banned from public sale. A sane country would've enacted this in law years ago. The majority of the public would support a ban. Decibel reductions from 120db to 90db DO NOT cut it and never will. Why don't we treat this hazard with the severity it deserves?!

Most of the suggestions here the police won't be able to effectively enforce. The only thing which stops the misery is banning the public sale of fireworks, which most of the British public WILL support. Please for god sake, stop wasting everyone's time, and just BAN the things!

They set the fireworks off purposely. It's swept from Manningham (the epicentre) to Frizinghall, now reaching Shipley/Saltaire. Families and pets (dogs are especially sensitive) are being tormented intentionally. Entire cities and towns will be ruined by this menace if allowed.
