Whilst I certainly believe there are a great many ‘perks’ of being gay, including being a part of a wider and wonderful accepting LGBT+ community, the daily discrimination that I and others face hardly makes it an ‘attractive’ option from being heteronormative. But it’s who I am!

Sigh. As a bartender you usually have a personal license which means you actually have a *responsibility* for safety of all patrons. If a bartender asks you to leave, you have to leave. If a bar tender refuses to serve you, sorry but that’s you cut off. It’s how the trade works.
