This year we expanded our Rising Stars programme with the Rising Stars of Voice. We met with some of the performers to reflect on their Festival experiences from life on stage to the moments that resonated with audiences. Mentored and supported by @jbaillieu and Edward Leung.

Performing at the Festival was no small feat for our Rising Stars of Woodwind, but they're nothing if not dedicated!👏 We spoke to the performers who shared their excitement to perform and learn from each other, all under the mentorship of @MarkSimpson_88 and @kathbryan.

This year, we held a Classical Jam - here's what the performers had to say! In August, our Rising Stars came together with @NickyBenedetti for an evening of classical music where the audience got to choose what was played! 🎶

This year @nicholascollon and @auroraorchestra performed Shostakovich's Fifth Symphony not once but twice - from memory! We went backstage to hear more about the emotional range of the symphony and @Abel_Cellist's incredible performance when he joined them in the Usher Hall.

The Festival may be over for this year, but the reviews keep coming with high praise for the "stunning" Closing Concert: Mendelssohn's Elijah. The @RSNO conducted by Thomas Søndergård shared the Usher Hall stage with a starry lineup of soloists and the Edinburgh Festival Chorus
