I am very sad to share the news that Björn Weiler passed away this morning in his sleep. The end was peaceful, a blessing given what he had endured over the last few months. Currently thinking of the happier times - it was one of the great privileges of my life to have known him

I was very saddened to hear this afternoon about the passing of Björn Weiler (@DifficileE): the kindest friends, most generous of mentors, and most brilliant of scholars. He shall be sorely missed, but his legacy lives on. #RIP
