Question: When in a high rise structure, is your orientation (alpha, bravo, charlie, delta) based on the exterior main level? Or is it when you get to the interior on a floor out of a stairwell or elevator?

Visited the grave of my friend’s father and witnessed a remarkable ceremony. The letters on the white crosses almost disappear in the brightness of the stone, so a soldier fills the indentations with sand from Omaha Beach to bring the name forward. It sent shivers down my spine.

THIS is why I joined the fire service. No clean cabs. No us first mentality. Just doing anything humanly possible to give trapped civilians another chance at all costs. Way to go brother. https://t.co/GkkhnUcn3R

The average income of firefighters is $53,240 as of 2017. The current U.S. median household income of $57,652. Considering you have to potentially put your life on the line for this job, it’s a shame. Hey, @repmorgan, @KenBlockRI, here's an article for ya

Never allow the fear of being judged make you not try to be exceptional! One of the worst things we can do in life is to listen to people who aren’t even trying to do what we are attempting to do.
