I’ve driven nearly 550 miles this week. I’ll probably crack 700.
One job finished. Driving another 80 miles or so from that job to another.

98 hours worked these 8 days (excluding Sunday). But will definitely be almost 120 by the weekend. Plus the 13% of each job’s profit. This job is gonna get me out of debt.

In the last week I’ve:. - Driven almost 1000 miles.- been caught in a lighting storm with torrential rain.- watched a coworker get electrocuted .- removed a mailbox in a rich HOA with my truck.- watched a guy have a heat stroke .- used a jackhammer next to some black metal boxes.

Just sitting here, watching Dexter, running scenarios for how many pairs I can feasibly run by myself using rotational grazing, stockpiling fescue, and gradually building out infrastructure. I’m figuring between 30-50 pairs if I have a good water source.

The best part of this story is that I never asked her to marry me. I woke up one morning and told her, “We’re getting married today. Go do your hair and makeup.”. An hour or so later we were married and eating tacos by a lake in New Mexico. Last June (2024) we were “remarried”.
I was 18 when I met this hourglass shaped 24 year old Latina. She had one of those old Nextel chirp/walkie talkie phones that stopped working. She was new in town and had no idea where anything was so I offered to show her where the Nextel store was. She agreed and I drove her.
