Not a slight on this official in particular, but if Canada is to return to a place where serious governance happens, we need to get back into habit of accountability that major resignations provide

Between stuff like this and the hours-long wait to vote for some Canadians, a resignation from the Chief Electoral Officer would be appropriate.

Tolerance isn't a lack of exclusive beliefs. Everyone has exclusive beliefs--we all think we are right about important things and the world would be better if others agreed. Tolerance is whether your beliefs lead you to treat those disagreeing with kindness, respect, humility.
