Yoooo.... This is worse than I thought it was at the time. Not only did he lose time but he had to go off the dry line with slick tyres which deffo lost him tyre temps and more time as a result.
This boils my blood so much. Zhou let Piastri past in this section but held up Hamilton which made him lose 5-6 seconds.
Keep in mind Piastri was right on Russell after this lap. This cost Hamilton a podium.

What do we think about Mercedes presenting George's car to the weighing still with fuel in it? You don't weigh the car with fuel, it should be drained.

Haas haven’t scored points since Austria in early July, Mick scored 8 points that race. You can’t expect a driver to score points when the car isn’t good enough. Kevin haven’t been any closer to scoring points than Mick.

Having had a few days to really let the news sink in it’s gonna be weird next year.
Mercedes are the team I’ve supported since I started watching this sport, I’ll follow and support Lewis at Ferrari but it feels weird not supporting Merc so I’ll still be supporting them.

Mercedes have recovered half a second on Red Bull since the start of the season.
This is while both teams have brought upgrades - insane progress from Mercedes.

Mercedes will have to compromise their one-lap pace a bit. The long run didn't look good and they had graining very early.
So be ready for a slight downtick in one-lap pace tomorrow.

The baseline drag of the car isn't bad. Joint highest top speed without DRS, but the current wing is just not very effective with DRS open.
Not good for a car that they hoped would be less draggy compared to last year. The wing is also not optimal when it comes to DRS efficiency. It has really bad DRS effect.

Aston was 5-7 tenths behind Mercedes in AD last season. Mercedes have improved and so have Ferrari and Red Bull. To think Aston Martin has improved over 1.5 seconds while simultaneously overtaking Mercedes doesn't sit right with me. We'll know next weekend.

Seems like people don’t know what “zeropod” means. The Red Bull has big sidepods, the inlet might be vertical and small but it still has big sidepods.

The W15 literally has no real strong point. Both the W13 and the W14 had good race pace and good deg, this car has nothing atm.

James Allison says the car is responding well and as they want it to respond when it comes to changes in setup. The correlation between sim and race track is there.
Good things to come from the test compared to last year.
