Recent @ScienceAdvances paper by collaborator @prof_horvath analyzed 15K DNA methylation samples in 348 mammalian species, indicate DNAm max life-span predictor has a potential innate longevity advantage for females in 17 species including humans! https://t.co/mQCgX8tbCB

DNA methylation can estimate maximum mammal life span, but the predictor does not correlate with individual mortality risk.
