I must admit, this season I am yearning for glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, but I'm not feeling very much good will towards men.

@wonderartsy Not if you’re in Canada. Tell your doctor about data sovereignty and the US CLOUD Act. US Gov can access even foreign nationals’ data stored on overseas servers if the company that controls the data is American. Almost every doctor I’ve told has said they’d stop using AI.

This is a face mask. After I covered my face with a black substance and put it on, the upper edge of the mask was covered in the black substance. This means that these areas are in close contact with the skin. This happens with most masks because they rely on the edge area for

My son's school dropped masks as early as they could, even as other schools in our area kept them. I pleaded with the school board, and all I got back was a derisive reply from the board president. My son graduated HS with an irreversible heart condition triggered by Covid.
I never thought I’d be writing this. After years of advocating for clean air and protecting kids during an ONGOING PANDEMIC, my daughter’s high school is trying to ban masks. My kid is a freshman. Illinois Section 2A tennis champion and state qualifier. Healthy. Driven.

Was chatting with someone that recently had influenza, ended up in the ER for hours. They still aren't recovered. Asked them if they would think about masking now because SARS2 is still prevalent & another infection right away could be bad. They will not because they simply

McMaster Children's Hospital just blocked me on FB for commenting on their Christmas crafts post for families IN NICU with all UNMASKED STAFF. They don't want families to know that SARS-COV-2 & Influenza are AIRBORNE & NEED respirators. You know what to do friends @BarryHunt008

Parents really expect there to be an instant cure available for their child when they get the flu, don't they? Sorry folks. Your child is NOT ready to go back to daycare or school after a couple of days, even if you are out of paid sick days for yourself.

Brain baggage phrase just popped into my conscious layer: “Clean the house from top to bottom to prepare for Baby Jesus.” What?! Where did I read that? And why did I accept that ridiculous burden of expectation? Baby Jesus already arrived! And does NOT care how clean my house is!

I refused to use AI. I went on two (very short) hikes with my family. I advocated for every single healthcare provider who came near my child to mask. And I didn't yell. What about you? Feel free to brag about the stuff you did to survive! You matter! fin/

I ate less meat. A lot less. And cooked more beans. I cut back on coffee. And eggs. And milk. And butter. And cheese. I trained myself to turn off the shower while I lather. I trained my daughter to turn off some lights when not in use.

I called my sister a few times. Trust me- this is huge. I fixed a few small things in my home. 🦾 I harvested and froze several pounds of berries for baking. I learned a new recipe.

I lost 6 pounds. I need to lose 20+, but hey, I lost 6! I gave away 10 N95s. It's not much, but it's what I could afford. I grew 15 zucchini. After trying and failing for 3 years. Enough for a few meals!

Feeling hopeless about everything today, and got slammed by thoughts of "Why bother? The little I can do can't make a difference." So I listed some things I've done this year. Wow- I'm a rock star! OK, not really, but I do feel a little better. A🧵of micro contributions.
